Green dotted panels rise from a black base, with a gold sergeant chevron and 1967 - 1989 printed near the heel. "UNITED STATES ARMY" sits on the tongue in green and white, the name is set in grey capitals along the outer side, and the gold-rimmed Army seal covers the toe.
