Rei Ayanami appears on the back of this tee in a moody purple illustration, curled inside a glowing ring beneath a tall cross of light, with the Neon Genesis Evangelion title set above. The front carries a smaller Evangelion wordmark with a slanted red graphic and a short line of text on the chest, so both sides tell part of the story.
The blank is a heavyweight 230 gsm cotton tee, acid washed for a faded charcoal finish and cut boxy with dropped shoulders and a seamless rib collar. The washed fabric gives the dark artwork an aged, gothic edge.
